Why is there a ban on adopting dogs from Sochi?
The new CDC dog import ban is unfairly targeting rescue dogs. Meant to prevent the spread of rabies, the ban punishes organizations that have been lawfully rescuing and carefully vaccinating animals in need. Right now we are not able to adopt dogs from the Sochi Shelter in the US.
