How long does it take to get a Leupold Custom Dial?
Every CDS model scope is eligible for one free custom dial. Enter the serial number of the scope and your ballistics below to redeem your free dial. Additional custom dials can be purchased for $80.00 each. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
Is Leupold worth the money?
YES… They are that good. My pocket book does not allow me to purchase the VX-2 or VX-3, but I have found the Leupold Rifleman and VX-1 are worth the extra funds over cheaper scopes. The Leupold dependability and full lifetime warranty are very hard to beat.

Can Leupold change my reticle?
The Leupold Custom Shop can install a variety of reticle offerings in virtually any Leupold scope; the only modern exception being the Rifleman line.
Where does Leupold get its glass?
Our lens systems are designed at Leupold, by American optical engineers in our state-of -the-art optics labs. The glass is then procured from vendors who must meet stringent quality standards. Incoming parts are carefully inspected in our testing facility before they are accepted into the build process.
Is NightForce better than Leupold?
Glass quality and brightness wise – any differences between the two are non-material. Leupold is going to have a higher zoom range, more magnification (compared to a 3-10 SHV) and more eye relief. Nightforce is less likely to lose zero or fail to track correctly.
Is vortex better than Leupold?
Vortex optics tend to less expensive than Leupold and, in some cases, offers features at a lower price point. Leupold costs more, but their optical quality seems a little better across the board, and they have a larger offering of scope models than Vortex.
Are Leupold lenses made in China?
In most cases, we can confirm a scope’s authenticity by its serial number. Leupold riflescopes are all designed, machined, and assembled in our Beaverton Oregon manufacturing facility. So if you come across a Leupold riflescope being shipped into the United States from China, it is a very likely a counterfeit.

The same holds true with our riflescopes that is why all of our riflescopes are design, machined, and assembled in our factory in Beaverton OR USA. All of our glass is manufactured to our specific specifications and is inspected upon arrival at our factory in Beaverton Oregon by our optical engineers.
Is Swarovski better than Leupold?
The short answer is because both companies are mediocre rifle scope manufacturers, while Swarovski makes fantastic binoculars, and Leupold continues to make mediocre ones.
