Why do they call it an Electra Glide?

In 1965, Harley-Davidson replaced the kick starter on the FLH with an electric starter and renamed the model the Electra-Glide, again keeping the FLH identifier. To increase the range of the big-twin tourer, the Electra-Glide also had a 5-gallon “Turnpike” fuel tank.

What’s the difference between Electra Glide Standard and Street Glide?
Electra Glide Standard is slightly shorter at 94.5 inches compared to Street Glide’s 96.5. There’s about nine pounds difference in weight. It has a 17-inch front wheel and a chrome lower spoiler right under the signature batwing fairing. A mid height clear windshield routes the wind away for hours of riding comfort.
