Which Copart membership is best?
Premier Membership
Premier Membership is the best choice for most Copart buyers. Upgrading to Premier gives you substantial buying power without having to add additional deposits.
How much does it cost to be a Copart member?
Basic Membership ($59 USD annually): Best for individual buyers who may only bid on and buy a few vehicles each year. This plan comes with limited Buying Power, which can be increased with additional deposits. Your deposit on file with Copart needs to be 10% of the maximum amount you wish to bid on a vehicle.
How do I find my Copart member number?
If you’ve forgotten your user ID, contact our Member Services department at [email protected]. If you forgot your password, simply enter your user ID or email address here, and it will be emailed to you.
Is Copart basic membership free?
When joining Copart for free with a Basic Membership, you will have the ability to create Watchlists and Saved Searches, access a personalized Member Dashboard and bid on up to 5 vehicles. Basic Membership is free.
Are Copart cars worth it?
Copart is a great resource for finding used vehicles at a lower price that is usually below the local price at any dealership. However, Copart requires a certain level of skill sets before you can bid correctly and get involved at the right time.
How can I get Copart for free?
To register for our free Basic Membership, simply fill out this form. You may also register on the Copart Mobile App. Within five minutes of submitting the Registration form, you will be sent a confirmation email containing your login information and password.
How do I relist my car on Copart?
If you win a lot and don’t finalize the purchase (meaning, the lot is not paid in full within 8 calendar days including the day of sale) the Lot will Relist. The Relist fee will be 10% of the final sale price OR $600 – whichever is higher. If you have paid Copart already, contact the Yard directly.
Can I return a car back to Copart?
A. Unfortunately you cannot return vehicles to Copart after the sale. All sales are final, and all vehicles are sold as-is, that is why it is very important to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding, and obtain as much information as you can.

Can you drive a car off a Copart lot?
Q: Can I drive my vehicle directly off the lot? A: Even if a vehicle is run and drive verified, there may be other significant damage, and it may not be road-worthy. The vehicle will also not be registered or inspected, so we cannot advise that anyone attempt to drive a vehicle from the location.
