What age is medium flow teats?
We have medium flow teats, which most babies are ready for at around 3 months, and a fast flow teat which is best from around 6 months. The ages are only guides though – you know your baby better than anyone and will be able to tell when they’re ready for a faster flow.

There is no “right” time to change your baby’s teat level. Some babies are content using Level 1 throughout their feeding days, while more aggressive eaters may advance sooner than expected. Your baby will offer signs if the flow is not fast enough and it’s time to move up a level.
Do Tommee Tippee Anti colic teats fit Closer to Nature bottles?
No, you can’t use Closer to Nature teats on Advanced Anti-Colic bottles. Closer to Nature teats have a built-in air valve, and don’t work with our Advanced Anti Colic bottles. The valve in your Advanced Anti Colic bottles is situated inside the bottle, attached to the end of the venting tube and is shaped like a star.
What’s the difference between Vari flow and medium flow teats?
The slow/medium/fast flowing nipples have a round hole, and the vari flow has an x-shaped slit. Vari Flow nipples were made to help breast milk fed babies with combating nipple confusion and transition between the bottle and breast easier. Hope this helps!

What age is Tommee Tippee teat 1 for?
Tommee Tippee has categorised their teats by age: Size 1 for 0-3 months, size 2 for 3-6 months and stage 3 for 6 months+. These ranges are simply for guidance and your baby should let you know when they need to move up to the next stage. If they are comfortable then you do not need to change.
Does my baby need a faster flow teat?

Why do my Advanced Anti Colic Bottles leak? If water is too hot when you put it in the bottle, it can enter the straw and travel up to the air hole on the screw ring, causing a leak. The solution is to let the water cool for a while after it’s boiled, before you pour it in.

When to switch from teat to Y cut teat?
Every baby is different but as a guide we suggest extra slow flow or slow flow for 0+ months, medium flow for 3+ months and fast flow for 6+ months, or variable flow to cover all age stages. For thicker, added cereal feeds try our Y-cut teat.
