A picture speaks a thousand words. This was the thought that went through my mind as I leafed through the family scrapbooks with my sister. My younger sister was the one closest to me in age. She was my constant playmate as we were growing up. We had a lot of fun pictures together that certainly showed a lot of smiling faces.

We laughed at our poses in front of the camera. There was a photograph of my sister’s 5th birthday celebration and she had cake icing on her face. That was a fun moment. She was wearing a butterfly outfit and looked funny with the frosting on her face. However, my sister pointed at another picture where I was just as comical.

This was during a sack race contest that we joined. I was in a hurry to get to the finish line that I tripped and fell flat on my face. I looked pathetic in the picture. However, I was laughing hard in the picture and did not mind the embarrassing moment. A picture like this is good to look at and we marveled at how well-preserved it remained.

Looking at the photos from the past brought my sister and I closer as we reminisced about the occasions captured by the pictures. We had a great time telling the stories behind the pictures and the people that were part of the history. We were happy that we had a lot of pictures together.

As we turned the page, we saw two bridal shower invitations for my sister and I. It was eye-catching in silver tones. The paper used was recycled paper which was eco-friendly. This was the package selected by our friend whose bridal shower invitation was in the scrapbook.

Celebrities are most often photographed attending bridal showers. Just recently, Fergie was spotted attending her sister’s bridal shower. She was visibly pregnant already and she Twitted that the bridal shower of her sister was adorable. I’m sure there were hundreds of photographs of the occasion.

Online photo albums could be the trend of the future. This is the more eco-friendly option for those who would want to capture their photo memories for posterity.

I for one would opt for online photo albums. It is a good way of storing precious photographs. It will document and preserve our family history. Best of all, it will be safe from wear and tear of the normal printed pictures.

I know when I got married, my husband wanted to invite many family members that lived about 3000 miles away across the country. We really wanted these folks to attend the festivities so we sent out save the date postcards as soon as we reserved the date of our wedding. Since we were sending them to family far away, we decided to send them to everyone while we were at it. I know I appreciate when I can plan ahead especially if it involves lots of travel and expense.
Online printing is a great way to get Save the Date cards for your upcomming wedding. If you have a design, symbol or theme for your wedding you can upload and create the postcard in the comfort of your own home. You can order as few as 50 and up to 1000 postcards. Postcard printing is a great way to save money and get the word out about your wedding. The post cards are created with vegetable and soy-based inks printed on stock that contains up to 55% post-consumer recycled content with the remaining content coming from sources that practice sustainable forestry.
